Robin is dedicated to providing comprehensive primary care in rural Colorado. Born in Fairplay, CO she moved to Norwood when she was one and a half. She attended PA school at Midwestern University in Phoenix, Arizona and worked as a PA for Indian Health Services in Shiprock, New Mexico for a year and a half before joining the team at Uncompahgre Medical Center in Norwood, Colorado.
Robin is passionate about providing quality health care to a rural population. While in school she focused on learning about and providing medical care to rural communities through rotations in rural Arizona, refugee clinics in Phoenix, the Navajo reservation, and Honduras. It was her dream to be able to return to her rural Colorado county to work with the region that raised her.
Outside of work Robin enjoys playing with and raising her 2 young daughters with her husband (who is also a San Miguel County native), spending time with family and friends, hiking, running, camping, skiing, biking, cooking, baking, and playing or listening to music.
Robin has enjoyed being a Physician Assistant at Uncompahgre Medical Center in Norwood for the since 2013 and looks forward to a long career providing quality, comprehensive medical care to rural Colorado.

Scott Hunter started his medical career later in life after working in the construction field for years. He took on a part-time job with the local ambulance in Ithaca, New York as an EMT-Basic along with his regular carpentry work. Helping patients on emergent as well as non-emergent calls challenged him in ways he had not experienced in other work. Sometimes, the call would be lifesaving, but often it was more about giving the patients and their families basic healthcare, providing comfort and kindness while transporting, or finding a solution to a problem. It was also enjoyable to work with multiple groups of people to coordinate the care and transport of patients. Firefighters, law enforcement, nurses, and doctors all helped, but local volunteers in rural areas made it all possible. To see people leave their jobs or get up in the middle of the night and go to another’s aid was inspiring and made Scott appreciate rural communities and the people in them. From this starting point, Scott went on to become a certified paramedic, then a registered nurse, then a nurse practitioner. Through this journey, he transitioned from ground transport, to working on a helicopter as a flight paramedic, to caring for patients in a trauma/surgical intensive care unit as a registered nurse, to discovering the gratification of being a family nurse practitioner.
Scott is a family nurse practitioner certified by the American Nurse’s Credentialling Center. He earned a Bachelor of Arts in English from the University of Iowa and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Alabama. After working in a hospital Intensive Care Unit, Scott went back to school in 2013 and earned his Master of Science in Nursing from the University of Alabama in 2015. After graduating, he worked in a family practice and sports medicine clinic in Tuscaloosa, Alabama. Scott and his wife grew up in Flagstaff, Arizona and knew they wanted to move back to the Western Mountains, so in 2022 they started their transition to Colorado.
Scott hopes to act as a resource to his patients in treating their acute and chronic medical conditions. He brings a whole-person approach to patient healthcare, knowing that mental and physical health are not separate issues in a person’s health but rather parts of the whole. He wants to gain the trust of his patients in Norwood and be part of the community as a person as well as a practitioner.
In their off time, Scott and his wife love to hike, ski, and bike. They are animal lovers who enjoy spending time with their many pets. They feel fortunate to find a position in Norwood at Uncompahgre Medical Center and look forward to becoming part of the community.
